A short, short note on parents

A couple of years ago, my father bought a watch for himself. The moment I saw it, I told him I am keeping it. He hasn’t bought a new watch, for reasons unknown to me. My mother has a new watch, so now my father wears my mother’s old watch. I wear his, which is mine.
